Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Senior Oracle Database Administrator role at AANSEAA Technologies. As a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day database operations, troubleshooting and resolving issues, ensuring database security, and implementing database replication. This is a hybrid role, with the primary location being Bengaluru but with flexibility for some remote work.The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing database systems to ensure the highest levels of performance, availability, and security Key

QualificationsExpertise in Oracle Database Administration, including database setup, configuration, and performance tuningExperience in troubleshooting and resolving database issuesKnowledge of database security best practices and the ability to implement necessary measuresExperience with database replication technologiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible and adaptable to changing prioritiesRelevant certifications in Oracle Database Administration are a plusSkills and Competencies:Proficiency in Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL.Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.Knowledge of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Data Guard.Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other monitoring tools.Experience with backup and recovery tools such as RMAN.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Preferred Skills:Experience with other database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS).Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
