Role Description

This is a full-time Senior Oracle Database Administrator role at AANSEAA Technologies. As a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day database operations, troubleshooting and resolving issues, ensuring database security, and implementing database replication. This is a hybrid role, with the primary location being Bengaluru but with flexibility for some remote work.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing database systems to ensure the highest levels of performance, availability, and security Key


Qualifications

  • Expertise in Oracle Database Administration, including database setup, configuration, and performance tuning
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues
  • Knowledge of database security best practices and the ability to implement necessary measures
  • Experience with database replication technologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Relevant certifications in Oracle Database Administration are a plus

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Oracle Data Guard.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and other monitoring tools.
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools such as RMAN.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
