Job Description:We seek a passionate and experienced Head of Mathematics Department (HOD) to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the Mathematics department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education in line with CBSE standards. You will play a pivotal role in cultivating students' mathematical understanding, fostering critical thinking, and preparing them for higher education and professional opportunities.

Responsibilities:Leadership and Management:Lead the Mathematics department, mentoring and supporting teachers to ensure the highest teaching standards.Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the Mathematics curriculum and student outcomes.Curriculum Delivery:Oversee the planning and implementation of Mathematics lessons that encourage active learning and engagement.Ensure the curriculum is up-to-date and aligned with CBSE standards.Lesson Planning:Develop structured and comprehensive lesson plans.Review and approve lesson plans prepared by other Mathematics teachers.Student Assessment:Evaluate students' progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.Develop and implement assessment strategies to track student performance.Classroom Management:Enforce the school's policies and disciplinary systems, fostering a positive learning environment.Support teachers in managing classroom discipline and creating a conducive learning atmosphere.Parental Communication:Maintain open and regular communication with students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress.Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events to build a collaborative school community.Professional Development:Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest educational trends.Organize and lead professional development sessions for the Mathematics department.

Qualifications:Founder Level:1-3 years of experience with a Postgraduate degree in Mathematics and B.Ed., responsible for delivering Mathematics content across different grade levels.Master Level:4-8 years of experience in advanced studies with a Postgraduate degree in Mathematics and B.Ed., with a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.Developer Level:9+ years of experience, a Postgraduate degree in Mathematics with B.Ed or M.Ed, with specialized skills in curriculum development and leadership in the Mathematics department.

Screening Process:Written Test:

A subject-specific exam assessing proficiency in Mathematics.Proficiency Test:

Tests for proficiency in MS Office.Reading Test:

Conducted through Microsoft Teams.Teaching Demonstration:

Candidates demonstrate teaching skills through a mock class session.
