Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to join our team and elevate Moodahead's brand messaging across various channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health advocacy and has a proven track record of crafting compelling copy that resonates with diverse audiences. In addition to writing engaging content, the Copywriter will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop impactful campaigns, storytelling initiatives, and brand communications.


Responsibilities:


Copywriting:

  • Write clear, concise, and persuasive copy for Moodahead's marketing materials, including website content, social media posts, email campaigns, blog articles, and promotional materials.
  • Develop compelling headlines, taglines, and messaging that effectively communicate Moodahead's brand voice, values, and unique selling points.
  • Ensure all copy is optimized for SEO and adheres to brand guidelines, tone of voice, and style standards.

Content Development:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop content ideas, themes, and concepts for campaigns and initiatives.
  • Research industry trends, consumer insights, and competitor analysis to inform content strategy and messaging.
  • Create engaging and informative content that educates, inspires, and resonates with Moodahead's target audience.

Storytelling and Brand Narrative:

  • Craft compelling narratives and storytelling arcs that bring Moodahead's mission, values, and impact to life.
  • Develop consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints to build brand recognition and affinity among users and stakeholders.

Editing and Proofreading:

  • Review and edit copy for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, ensuring all content meets high standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback and revisions into final deliverables.

Campaign Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Provide creative input and copywriting support for campaign assets, including ad copy, landing pages, social media content, and promotional materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2 years) as a copywriter or content creator, preferably in the mental health, healthcare, or wellness industry.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling abilities, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear and compelling copy.
  • Proficiency in crafting SEO-friendly copy and understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of mental health advocacy, stigma reduction, and trauma-informed communication principles is a plus.
