Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Designer to lead our Product and Design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design with a passion for innovation and product development. As the Lead for Product and Design, you will be responsible for driving the creative vision, overseeing product development, and ensuring the design solutions align with the brand’s high standards. You will lead the design process from concept to execution, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding interiors that meet the expectations of our luxury and Mid-Premium clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Design Experience a. Preparing the Design Brief for the Celebrity Designer every Year Twice b. Coordination with Marketing Team for Celebrity Design Deployment c. Preparing and Deploying the Mood-boards and other design themes on the design floor regularly every quarter d. Connecting with the DMs, DOHs, and Designers to review the GTN and CDPs every week and prepare the report with the help of MIS and submit to the Design Head e. Curating and deploying the Design Language every year f. Training the Designer periodically if any gaps are being found in their design deliverables g. Monitoring and reviewing the Designer's performances every month h. Monitoring the Designer's Upselling and reviewing every month i. Preparing and submitting the Designer's performance report every week / month to the Design Head j. Monitoring, reviewing and making sure the monthly milestones are achieved as per the target by the designers every month

2) EC Experience a. Upkeeping the EC - i. Weekly Audit of the ECs of the CITY ii. Coordinating with the local admin and making sure, the admin does the needful as per advised iii. Sharing the weekly audit report with the stakeholders iv. Coordinating with cross functional teams for the upkeeping of the EC including Finance, Ops, QC, Design, Etc. v. Maintaining and controlling the Monthly Upkeeping budget for each EC

b. Upgrading the EC - i. Yearly Upgrade design and plan to be worked out with the estimate ii. Yearly upgrade budget to be maintained and controlled iii. Coordinating with cross functional teams for the upkeeping of the EC including Finance, Ops, QC, Design, Etc. iv. Visiting the market and competition to understand the competition and do the needful to upgrade our display better than them v. Designing the New ECs as and when we come up with new ECs

Apart from the above Key Area of Responsibility, below are the few general but important KRA -

• Product Development: Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from conceptualization to material selection, prototyping, and final execution, ensuring alignment with the latest trends and brand identity. • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Sourcing, QC, and Tech to ensure a seamless integration of design and functionality. • Innovation & Trends: Stay updated on the latest design trends, materials, and technologies, incorporating innovative ideas into product and interior designs. • Quality Control: Ensure high standards of quality in both the design and execution phases of all projects, overseeing site inspections and ensuring that final outputs meet the brand's aesthetic and functional expectations. • Vendor & Material Sourcing: Work closely with the sourcing team to select and approve materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the project’s creative vision and budget. • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs are consistent with the brand’s identity and maintain the luxury and premium feel across all products and spaces.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in interior design, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or lead role. • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. • Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing luxury residential projects, with an emphasis on creativity and technical excellence and backend product development experience. • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers, ensuring collaboration and innovation throughout the design process. • Technical Skills: Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design tools. • Product Design: Experience in product design, material selection, and sourcing with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. • Client-Facing: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate client needs into creative and functional design solutions. • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex design challenges and find creative solutions. • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of the integration of design and function.
