Job Overview:
The Continental and Bubble Tea Chef will be responsible for managing the kitchen, preparing and crafting beverages and snacks, and ensuring smooth operations with the POS system. The ideal candidate will have expertise in making bubble teas, barista items, and snacks like Maggi, noodles, and sandwiches, etc while maintaining excellent kitchen hygiene and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Prepare and serve bubble teas, coffee, and other beverages to perfection.
Create and prepare quick snacks such as Maggi, noodles, and sandwiches.
Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure availability of ingredients.
Operate and troubleshoot the POS system for order management.
Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain quality standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Innovate and develop new recipes to enhance the menu offerings.
Monitor kitchen costs and work to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a café or restaurant setting.
Proficiency in preparing bubble teas, coffee, and snack items.
Hands-on experience with POS systems and kitchen equipment.
Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.
Creativity and passion for food and beverages.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent training.
Previous experience in a bubble tea café or coffee shop.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
