We are hiring for the role of Business Development Intern at Sociium


The 'Business Development Intern' will report to the 'Business Development Manager', helping lead initiatives to identify, engage, and build relationships with potential business partners. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and strategic thinker, with excellent communication skills and the ability to drive business growth. They will be responsible for exploring new business opportunities, maintaining current relationships, and developing strategies that align with the company's long-term vision.


Role Description


This is a full-time on-site Business Development Intern role at Sociium. The Business Development Intern will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with sales, including communication with clients & customers, providing exceptional customer service, training, and sales management.


Requirements and Skills


  • Lead Generation, Email marketing and cold calling
  • Scheduling qualified business development meetings
  • Following up on leads from an email campaign
  • Strong communication with clients & customer service skills
  • Ability to sell and negotiate with clients
  • Experience or willingness to learn about sales management
  • Internship or work experience in sales is a plus
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic knowledge of sales, marketing and digital media is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Fluent in English


Stipend structure:

Minimum-assured stipend: Rs. 8000/month

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (5% of revenue generated).


Qualifications:


1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

2. Previous internship experience in business development or sales, preferably in a marketing agency or startup environment.

3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

4. Familiarity with digital marketing, branding, and advertising is a plus.
