UK ShiftPrimary roles and responsibilities

Mainframe CICS Systems programmer with experience in migration projects and knowledge of CA DADS Plus.Knowledge of IBM CICS utilities and CA Intertest would be a definite advantage.

Mandatory Experience

Migration experience of CICS related products.Hands on experience in handling situations associate with sudden spike in workloads and CICS infrastructure handling that spike.Experience in handling CA DADS Plus & IBM CICS batch utilities would be required.Responsible for all aspects of supporting CICS Services running in a mainframe environment.Monitor CICS performance and identify and adjust as necessary to maintain peak performance.Strong problem diagnostics skills.Ability to work with customers and vendors in resolving CICS related issues.Active participation in planning, design, testing, documenting, and researching all CICS group projects.Minimum of 5+ year's hands-on experience performing CICS Systems Support duties.On-call Experience and exposure in handling CICS related issues.

Desirable Experience

Experience with IBM CICS utilities.Programming languages like; Assembler, REXX, other script languages, etc.CICS product related migration would be preferred.
