Your role
Are you passionate about Investment Bank reporting? Are you keen on role within a team that delivers best in class reporting and analysis to support the decision making processes relating to Investment Banking ("IB") for UBS group, business divisions and legal entities? We are looking for someone with subject matter expertise in IB reporting to join UBS Reporting and Analytics Services ("RAS") team in Pune.
Your role entails:
• developing subject matter expertise in Investment banking business and related products along with providing knowledge and data to key clients of the agreed Sector responsibilities
• collaborating across global and regional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver high qualityprehensive reports on performance and resource consumption which includes RWA, LRD & Balance Sheet, with an overlay of meaningfulmentary explaining the drivers behind the figures using MicroStrategy reporting platform and more recently PowerBI
• delivering high quality reporting and analytics for Group, and Legal Entities for IB division and business area and supporting client engagement model and establishing RAS as a trusted & recognized business partner along with good understanding of Investment banking business and related products
• cooperating with the respective businesses, Group Accounting & Controlling, Treasury and Business CFOs to achieve high quality financial information and analysis as well as support optimization efforts
• regularly reviewing and challenging our clients' needs, and their existing and new demands; any new report(s) to be set-up in a standardized process
• providing senior management with ad-hoc analysis and responding promptly to feedback on the understanding of data and information the team distributes
Your team
The role exists within the Reporting and Analytics Service team. This team has been created to deliver best in class reporting and analysis to support the decision making processes relating to management and performance of IB business division and business areas resources for UBS group, business divisions and legal entities.
Your expertise
You have:
• higher degree and professional qualification with a good understanding of Investment banking business and related financial reporting and controlling in the financial service industry
• sound understanding of Banking business, in particular Investment Banking, Treasury and Wealth Management
• good understanding of Basel 3 capital regulations and models
• strong MS office knowledge (Excel, Word and MS Access) and technology knowledge (preferably UBS Finance ledger)
• reliable and accurate working style with strong analytical, review skills and attention to detail
• exposure to Microstrategy Visual Insight reporting platform would be an added advantage
• good team player, high flexible,mitment to meet quality and ability to manage tight deadlines
• strongmunicator with strong English language skills (verbal and written)
