POSITION DETAILS

Position Summary

The Manager Finance SSC India primary role is to act as leader of the Finance Shared Service Center (SSC) India team, to drive sustainable improvements of financial processes, including automation of manual processes and elimination of non-value-added work, with the goal to accomplish best practices within Circor. To get there, the Manager Finance SSC India needs to act as change agent and key contact for all stakeholders, which are interacting with/be served from the Finance Shared Service Team India, especially the FinSSC Team EMEA in which he/she reports directly into. The position pro-actively supports Industrial Group´s efforts to expand the scope of entities being supported by the Finance Shared Service Team.

Principal Activities

  • and managing primarily Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable transactional processes, accurate and on time account reconciliation and SOX controls.
  • ownership to uplift the Finance SSC India Team to a fully integrated service level. This includes transitioning transactional processes (e.g. AR/AP/Account reconciliation and SOX) of multiple additional Circor entities located in Europe and APAC to India.
  • point of contact for all kinds of global stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • and implement process and system improvements to increase overall efficiency and accuracy.
  • and increasing the performance of the Financial SSC in India by coaching and guiding the team to reach the annual established goals.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • SAP FI knowledge
  • command on English Language
  • highly accurate accounting work with convincing level of efficiency
  • importance of due dates very well and prioritizes work accordingly
  • Drive process improvement
  • Self-organized, persistent, reliable and self-motivated individual
  • Proficiency with MS tools especially Excel
  • Preferably experiences in the environment of Shared Services Centers
  • Knowledge of office administrative and operations management practices and procedures
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools. ERP or other business system
  • Very good oral and written communication skills must (Telephone and email)
  • Proficient in organizing tasks for completion by an agreed deadline


Education & Experience

  • Accounting professional, Certified Management Accountant
  • least 10 + years of relevant experience in the fields of Accounting, SOX, Reconciliation, SSC experience in the area of AR/AP
  • in US-GAAP accounting and advanced certification in accounting
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Experienced Team Leader
  • Excellent intercultural communication skills
