About Position

We are identifying a leader to manage & direct the Appian practice area, setting strategic direction & ensuring delivery excellence. Responsible to harness the practice in short term (2-3 years) and long term (5+ years) growth perspective. Lead practice to build capabilities. Develop robust technology / frameworks, drive competency development in a focused technology. Thought Leadership to represent Persistent in industry forums.


What You'll Do


  • Building Practice & Capability: Design and deliver a range of client facing projects which will develop over time into practice/ delivery unit. Responsible to build practice and generate business. Forecast staffing needs. Invest in structured skill development programs. Work jointly with delivery partners to ensure delivery and run operations of practice.
  • Growth: Responsible for business growth. Support the Practice/Delivery Head in building the mission and overall Business strategy. Win, design and delivery of projects by offering intellectual and managerial leadership on a defined area of practice.
  • Partner Positioning/liaison/GTM: Work with partner on identifying the GTM strategies, focus areas of partner and increase our ranking and partnership level. Join hands with sales teams from partners and become liaison to create a strong relationship between the partner and Persistent.
  • Client responsibilities: Establish and execute the governance plan to proactively understand client expectations and get periodic feedback from relevant stakeholders
  • Sales Enablement: Partner with Sales team to develop and execute impactful, data-driven solutions for transforming the sales process. Map company’s sales process with our Client’s buying process to understand and enhance what skills, knowledge, process and tools are required by our sales force to increase velocity and conversion rates at each stage in those processes
  • Pre-sales activities: Able to consult, advice and help in pre-sales of Hyperautomation/LCAP based solutions. Work closely with pre-sales team for providing solutions based on customer's strategic business and technical requirements, product/ solution demos, responding to RFIs/RFPs
  • Thought Leadership & Innovation Focus: Develop and grow excellent practice and build a reputation within the sector as an emerging leader and innovator. Contribute meaningfully to the intellectual output of Practice and translate theory into practice (and vice versa). Identify areas of growth for the coming years. Identify initiatives to be undertaken to incubate identified technologies.
