The ideal candidate will have an advanced understanding of financial and management accounting, particularly in a project-based environment. This role requires expertise in handling direct and indirect taxes, managing accounts for multiple project sites, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


1 ) Financial Accounting and Management Accounting:

  • Oversee financial accounting and management accounting activities in a project-based environment.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support project management and decision-making.


2) Direct and Indirect Tax Management:

  • Differentiate and manage direct and indirect taxes in a manufacturing setting.
  • Handle tax compliance for various projects, ensuring adherence to local and national tax regulations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, and manage tax audits and inquiries.


3) Project Site Accounts:

  • Manage accounting for multiple project sites, tracking expenses and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Implement strategies to ensure accurate financial reporting for project sites.
  • Coordinate with project managers to monitor project budgets and expenditures.


4) Accounts Settlement:

  • Oversee the process for settling accounts at the end of project phases.
  • Handle disputes or discrepancies in account settlements, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare final financial reports for project closures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CA mandatory
  • Experience in financial accounting and management accounting, preferably in a project-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of direct and indirect tax regulations and compliance.
  • Proven experience in managing accounts for multiple project sites.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
