To do that the Services tools and applications used by our customer engineers are crucial to capture data in an efficient way to be analyzed by our experts and provide recommendations to optimize every system or site.Deep industry knowledge, advanced technology, and system expertise are main reasons for customers to select us over our competitors.Low code applications are becoming a preferred solution to develop applications for Android and iOS platforms, or PWA implementations to deploy around the globe and changing/adapting them quickly to fulfill customer expectations. Vertiv is looking for low code app developers to implement our Services application to cover on site activities.He / She will be part of an organization reporting to the CTO which includes:Subject matter experts on Vertiv TechnologiesData architectReporting programmersProduct ownersREPORTING RELATIONSHIPS :This position will report directly to the Global Services Reporting Manager, who reports to the Global Services Platform organization.ESSENTIAL ROLE FUNCTIONS:Work with architects, subject matter experts and product owner to design & implement appropriate technical solutions based on the FDD (Functional Design Document) and TDD (Technical Design Document)Design low-level technical solutions using the Mendix platform.Estimate effort required to develop specific functionalitiesDevelop the functionality and automatize the test of the user cases if requiredApply design & system architecture skills to ensure continual increase in performance and stability of the core systemDocument the solution and support defining tests for each sprintSupport junior developers and testers during the development processADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESDefine and put in place best practices to optimize development and test effort.INTERACTIONS :R&D from different centers of expertiseAcademy organizationIT organizationServices Data analystsServices SMEs in different technologiesProduct owner for Knowledge and Data acquisitionPOSITION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :Travel Required: MinimumMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

The Senior Low code platform developer should have background in programming Service Tools oriented to capture data during on site interventions in industries like Utilities, Telecom, Bank, Retail or any industry with thousands of sites and multiple technologies to be served. It is crucial to understand Low code platforms concept.In this kind of application, the human interface is paramount, and the solution needs to be oriented to minimize the effort and increase the efficiency of the on-site activity.Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical studiesAt least 5 years development experience and 1-2 years of experience in Mendix (preferable), OutSystems, AppSheet, Power Apps or similar platformsAdvanced level certification in a low code platform is preferred, but not mandatoryGood knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data modelsKnowledge of server-side programming languages. Other front-end technologies are a plus, but not mandatory.Knowledge of JavaScript is preferred, but not mandatoryGood understanding of the SW development lifecycle, versioning and repository management, Agile methodology and familiar with project management and tracking tools like Rally or JiraUnderstanding of service-oriented architectures & distributed computing conceptsGood understanding of object-oriented programming principlesStrong Communication skills and capabilities to establish relationships with internal customer at top levelFluent English speaker. Other languages as Italian, Spanish, French or German are a plus, but not mandatory.ADDITIONAL REQUIRED ATTRIBUTESMust be able to meet project deliverables under aggressive time deadlinesAbility to effectively deal with a wide variety of competing demandsInterviewing and listening skills- interact with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information.Good interpersonal skills to negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.Good writing skills to communicate information effectively to stakeholders and technical staff.
