In 2022, Bain Capital re-invested in the organization after completing a buy-out from Carlyle. This is a rare occurrence in the private equity space and shows the level of performance VXI delivers for our clients, employees, and shareholders. With this recent investment, VXI has started on a transformation to radically improve the CX experience though an industry leading generative AI product portfolio that spans hiring, training, customer contact, and feedback.

Role Summary: We are seeking a skilled and innovative Product Designer with a strong emphasis on UI/UX design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in creating user-centric designs using tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Framer, along with solid knowledge of HTML/CSS. Preferred candidates will also have experience with JavaScript and ReactJS. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience and interface of our products, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet user needs and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • UI/UX Design: Create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Framer to demonstrate and test design concepts.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with business objectives.
  • User Research: Conduct user research, including usability testing, user interviews, and surveys, to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • HTML/CSS Development: Implement design components using HTML and CSS, ensuring responsive and accessible design.
  • Continuous Improvement: Iterate on design solutions based on user feedback, data analysis, and testing results.
  • Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across all products.
  • Visual Design: Utilize tools like Illustrator and Adobe After Effects to create high-quality visual designs and animations.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance our design processes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in product design, with a focus on UI/UX design.
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, UI/UX projects, and proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Framer.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Framer.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML/CSS.
  • Strong visual design skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JavaScript and ReactJS.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and guidelines.
