Job Description:

As a Product Designer II at Buddy Deals, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our products. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to design intuitive and engaging user interfaces. This role requires a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating delightful user experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Design user interfaces that are visually appealing, intuitive, and meet business and user needs.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve designs.
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure design specifications are implemented accurately.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product design, UI/UX design, or a related role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work, including examples of user interfaces, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present design ideas clearly.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating beautiful, usable products.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
