Inventory Analyst for Supply Chain Support (based in Pune, India).

We are looking for an Inventory Analyst to be based in Pune, India. This position reports to “Manager, Supply Chain Support”. In this position you will have steering transformation and development of supply chain through the implementation of supply chain processes & tools, sustainable practices, and support transfer pricing activities along with area logistics coordination.
In this position, you will be required to:
Supervise and maintain inventory levels in the ERP system as per desired plan and guidelines. Prepare and maintain various reports in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Maintain inventory quality product-wise and area-wise. Review and control item parameters. Identify OSMI and plan to liquidate it. Support to CCC (cost-competitive country) sourcing. Participate in various inventory meetings with counterparts across regions. Support and be involved in establishing inventory and materials management strategies, targets, and annual plans. Monitor demand and analyze the levels of inventories to identify healthy, excess, and aged items. Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve inventory levels and stock turns. Prepare detailed reports and share with management the status of stock levels, stock turns, issues, and improvement areas. Demonstrate the quality of a team player and guidance to the inventory and material management team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. To succeed in this role, you will need:
Mechanical Engineer Graduate with minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain. Knowledge of supply chain management. Ability to work independently and strong decision-making. Ability to read engineering drawings. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of ERP like Baan, and LN. Self-directed and motivated. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
