Dear Candidates,

We are hiring experienced professionals in the Charge Entry and Payment Posting domains within the medical billing process. Candidates must have hands-on experience in physician billing and a strong understanding of US healthcare RCM.

Location: Chennai

Company: Novigo Integrated Services

Shift: Day Shift

Experience: Min 1 yr as Charge and Payment

Industry: Medical Billing / Healthcare BPO

Open Positions:

1. Charge Entry Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and timely charge entry based on medical documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of E&M CPT codes
  • Apply appropriate modifiers like 25, XU, 59, RT & LT.
  • Understand Place of Service (POS) and medical record review standards.
  • Perform insurance eligibility verification.
  • Need minimal ICD-10 knowledge.
  • Familiarity with general physician medical billing workflows.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Charge Entry.

The candidates are not eligible if :

Experience into Anesthesia, DME, Hospital Billing, Ambulance Billing, or SNF.

Background in Adjudication or non-physician billing.

Career gap of more than 3 months.

Having experience in Adjudication process (Its not a physician billing)

2. Payment Posting Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform insurance payment posting both manual and ERA.
  • Must understand at least 5 common denial/remark codes.

  • Experience with:

  • Offset / Recoupment

  • Overpayment Recovery
  • Forwarding Balances

  • Interest Payments

  • Junior candidates should know Deductible, Copay, and Co-insurance concepts.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance payment posting.
  • Must have experience in manual posting, not just ERA.

The candidates are not eligible if

Experience is limited to Patient Payment Posting.

Less than one year experience.

Worked only in Credit Balance Team or Payment Reconciliation.
