Primary Purpose of Role:

The Country Sales Operations Specialist reports solid line to the Asia Sales Operations Manager; he/she has a daily work relationship to the Country BDM (Business Development Manager) and the Channel partners.


He/she ensures processes, quality and execution for the Country Operations Processes, He/she interfaces with the local Sales team, Vertical Managers, Corporate team, Supply Chain & Logistics, Regulatory, Service Operations and the Shared Service Center in Mumbai.


Commercial Quality in our operations is a key component of the position and is reflected in his/her involvement in our contracting processes (public & private) as well as coordination and documentation of contractual incentive schemes.

He/she ensures efficient and timing handling of our Lead to Order processes of the Country he/ she works for.


The Business Sales Operations Specialist supports the BDM and Sales Operation Directors in implementing a sound operating mechanism as well as internal policies and guidelines at Country/Cluster Level. A key measure is improvement in our overall Forecast accuracy and business growth, Channel communication and service support. The Sales Operation Specialist is the unique Channel interface for all operational questions.


The operating mechanism includes organizing effective Channel Operations processes in the Country, leveraging the channel operations processes and tools developed with the Region.


Through providing key user support in his/her Operations for major systems, he/she works in close relationship with Asia Sales Operations Manager and the International Sales Operations team and supports improved sales process and sales tool adoption in the countries.


Specific Roles & Responsibilities:

Country Operating Mechanism, policies and guidelines

Support BDM and Regional Sales Manager in setting up regular operating mechanismMonthly, Quarterly, Annual in the region

Support Sales Team to drive operational guidelines and policies within the Countries

Channel Operations

Own Channel Operations Mechanism to oversee Channel goal setting for annual and quarterly goals, commission and certification process and review process in the Countries with the support of the Channel Managers/BDM.


Forecast Accuracy

Cooperate with the BDM and Channels to improve country Cadence and Forecasting processes

Operate the monthly forecast mechanism with the support of the others department

Interface with supply chain and Service team

Improve linearity in Operations and support Region effort to increase forecast accuracy on quarterly and monthly basis.

Own Forecast Accuracy Measurement, deviation analysis and corrective action plans

Coordination with SC&L & planners team‘s to execute the business plans


Tool adoption and skills enhancement

Cooperation with Sales BU and Systems Service group and the Asia Operations team to ensure good systems training execution and increased tool adoption in the Countries/Channel

Own C4C adoption plan and training for the Countries

E-shop adoption & monitoring

Own finance quotation tool and workflow adoption in the Countries

Contract management

Actively contribute to commercial quality in our contracts

Creation and monitoring our channel contract in Sirion

Support contract documentation project for the countries

Support standardization and improvement of our contracts

Monitor the compliance process of the ASIA cluster

Onboard process including DDQ and ACAB


General Admin support

Cooperation with ASIA Sales Organization

Pricing administration

C4C/SAP data maintenance (masterdata, account creation, E-shop)


Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor degree in Business, Finance or Science

Knowledge of Sales Operations Processes

Excellent IT skills required – SAP, BMI, C4C would be a plus

Ability to improve processes

Strong analytical skills and ability to convert data into management information with focus on changes in business environment and key performance indicators measurement

Pro-active problem solver with capability to manage corrective actions rigorously, results oriented

Good interpersonal skills – team working, networking and influencing

Good communicator at local and executive level

Flexibility – ability to cope with rapid changes and working towards tight deadlines

LANGUAGE:
