Faced with heightened competition from new entrants, Orange Business has launched its Lead The Future plan in 2023 to move towards greater flexibility and agility, and quickly adapt to changes in the environment, whether technological, regulatory, geopolitical or competitive.
To accelerate our growth and competitiveness, we have launched a series of transformation projects which require us to adapt our operating models.
Job scope
Within Orange Business, the mission of the Chief Technology and Information Office (CTIO) is to be a trusted technology business partner, delivering outstanding digital experiences to our customers, partners and employees. To do so we are in the process of reimagining our IT to better serve the Business. We need to leave behind our IT complexity by simplifying and modernizing our existing IT stack as well as delivering a brand new IT platform so that we can launch our next generation of products.
CTIO is an entity of around 1800 people mostly located in France, Morocco, Egypt and India.
As the CTIO Director of Performance, you will play a crucial role in driving the performance and efficiency of our entity on an international scale. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize operational processes, improve productivity so that we achieve business objectives across our sites. You will define, harmonize and consolidate key performance indicators (financial and operational) that will enable us to inform managerial decisions and steer CTIO’s activity and transformations. You will also foster a culture of performance within the organization as well as benchmarking to compare our performance with other market players.
Main responsibilities
- Develop and implement performance improvement strategies and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across our sites, France and international
- Define, operationalize and monitor meaningful key performance indicators (KPIs) across the CTIO organization to track, manage the performance of our IT systems and processes and enable the CTIO teams to take the right actions to improve it.
- Identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to optimize performance, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across all our sites to drive performance improvement projects and initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews to the leadership team and wider, and provide feedback to team members to ensure continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in IT performance management and leverage them to drive innovation and improvement.
- Foster a culture of performance within the organization, promoting a mindset of continuous improvement and adherence to established processes and standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across our different countries to understand their requirements and align performance improvement initiatives with business objectives
- Develop and maintain the IT quality and process framework and ensure its alignment with quality standards and ISO requirements for global IT processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate ISO audits and ensure successful outcomes.
Profile
- Proven experience in performance management, process improvement, quality management, and ISO audits within the IT industry, including familiarity with IT performance industry standards and best practices
- Ability in starting and shaping a new performance activity that does not exist today
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify performance gaps and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team to achieve goals and drive change in a transversal way and in a multicultural environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization across different countries.
- Knowledge of IT systems and technologies, with a focus on performance optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
