Making animals’ lives better makes life better – join our team today Functions, Duties, Tasks:   Ensure growth of business as per the defined objective and maintain business sustainability with proper sales hygiene. People management & Customer relationship Develop strategic account plans and align within the team in order to maximize sales and add value for our customers. Ensure Sales Force Effectiveness ( SFE) parameters as per the defined set objectives.   Internally:  * Works in collaboration with his Sales Team, Marketing, Finance, EEM and other related persons towards achievement of business goals with proper peer relationship. * Timely co-ordinate with channel partners for better / smooth execution of sales and also monitor financial parameter for better sales hygiene.   Externally: * Keep good relationship with Customers, Veterinarians, Key Accounts, Stockiest and Retailers through value added services. * Resolve problems and take need based decision with proper alignment with supervisor. * People management for performance / non performance including documentation. SPECIFIC AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY / RESPONSIBILITY PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE: * Regional Sales Manager is accountable for effective management and development of people. * Efficient management of comprehensive product mix, efficient stock management and hence attains business objectives of EAH. * He will be responsible for the business operations and implementation of company strategies in the market through a team of area business managers and business executives. * Attain or exceed sales budgets quarter-wise. * Ensure that all brands contribute to growth & sales objectives. * Ensure all Areas in the region are meeting the sales objectives. * Prepare & control expense budgets in line with company objectives. * Participate in strategy meetings & provide inputs to marketing department pertaining to his region. * Ensure that all the key marketing projects & activities are implemented effectively during each cycle in his region Elanco is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status
