Description Investment Bank Operations (IB Operations) is an integrated delivery model, in a continuous process of front-to-back alignment providing transaction, reporting and cash management services to Deutsche Bank’s multi-asset global businesses including IB Business - FIC Sales and Trading, Invest Bank and Capital Release Unit. Operational services include core trade date middle offices, controls and regulatory reporting, margin liquidity as well as tax and asset servicing. Deutsche Bank is going through a significant transformation of its front-to-back operations including IBCPO, marked as one of the banks top 3 transformation agendas. The role will report to the India Head of Investment Bank and Cross Product F2B Operations. Execute target operating model strategies for key operational processes, including AI-enabled system architecture, intelligent process controls, and location strategy . Actively partner with various functional leads & teams in execution of front-to-back transformation focused on improving client experience, risk management capabilities and driving efficiency. Design and implement Agentic AI frameworks for autonomous decision-making and workflow optimization . Build intelligent document processing pipelines leveraging Doc AI for unstructured data extraction and classification . Ensure change management is completed in a controlled and robust manner, with rigorous, automated testing and including appropriate business resiliency, audit, and regulatory standards. Your skills and experience 14+ years in financial services, preferably Investment Banking Operations. Extensive experience in data science, cloud migration, and quality management. Proficiency in building, fine-tuning, and monitoring AI models. Hands on experience with data modelling and visualisation tools eg: Tableau, SQL, GCP etc. Strong background in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and advanced analytics. Ability to lead data strategy and optimization initiatives for banking products. Skillset for data engineering and analytics – building repeatable/reusable assets; using data for analysis and driving business outcomes; comfortable with data models and joining fragmented data sets. Include skills for tools such as Alteryx, Tableau , and modern AI/ML frameworks (Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow), as well as traditional technical skillsets e.g., SQL database knowledge. Must have any of the Investment Banking domain experiences – Cash Management (Preferrable), Trust and Agency Services, Trade Finance and Lending, Security Services, Transaction Banking, Fund Accounting, Corporate Action . Experience in Data Lineage, Data Transformation, data quality and daa modelling . Exposure to LLM-based solutions, prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques, and vector databases is a strong plus. B Tech / M Tech / Data Science (full-time) from premier institutes is an added advantage. Hands-on experience who can describe the data and create recommendations and improvements.
