Job Description for the Position of Accounts ManagerAbout UsAt Wilson Composites India LLP, we are

for the commercial construction industry. We specialize in design, engineering, and fabrication.Job SummaryWe are looking for sharing the responsibility and co-pilot the top line business and protect the bottom line with financial controls in place to achieve expected results in alignment with the overall objectives of the organizations that comprise the Wilson Composites family of companies.

Position Type and Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, with a minimum expectation of 45 hours per week. Late evening hours are required occasionally to have an overlap with the U.S.-based team.LocationMarathon Icon, Lower Parel WestKey AccountabilitiesOverall AccountabilityFinancial control, general accounting: Ensure timely closure of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, financial reporting, audits and compliances. Ad-hoc reporting / MIS activities.Manage all accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost accounting, Inventory accounting and Revenue recognition.Work with the senior leadership team to manage and control financial metrics efficiently within the organizations.Work with senior leadership on the company's funding-related financial diligence, and coordination with internal and external teams.Work with Project Management and Purchasing teams to execute purchasing and purchase reconciliation activities.Managing complexity, multiple stakeholders- Overcome by: Solving thing in a structured manner.Prioritization of tasks and smooth operations.Financial Books ClosureResponsible for review of periodical finance close in line closing checklist and period end submissions of financial informationEnsure accurate reported as per Ind AS and US GAAPReview of financialsDriving efficiency in books closure process through automation of entries and activitiesCoordinate with Corporate team for consolidation activities and requirementsConsolidate review annual and quarterly submission related to financialsProvide internal assurance on completeness and comprehensiveness of financial closure.Review of FinancialsMonthly/Quarterly review of financials with senior leadership teamReview of receivables, cash flow schedule along with provisioningStreamlining accounting practices across countriesReview of Statutory compliance and activitiesReview all contracts, understand implications on accounting and advise business teams accordingly.Internal ControlsReview of process across entities end to end.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.Review of controls adequacy and drive simplification.Drive and lead statutory and internal compliances.ComplianceReview of compliance across entities.Liaison with legal and CA team for review and closure of compliance activities, such as GST and Transfer/Export documentation.Centre of ExcellenceCentral force to drive regular training on accounting and controls.Creating standard documentation for adherence of accounting policies for business and financeKey InteractionsUS based OwnersIndia based Operations teamUS based CFOIndian CA finance teamOperational ConsultantsOutside Legal TeamIT teamStatutory AuditorsConsultantsVendors/agencies for any new serviceEducation QualificationMBA in FinanceAdditional certification courses in auditing/taxation/complincesRelevant Work ExperienceMinimum of 6 years of Proven working experience as an Accounting Manager,Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures,Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process,Excellent accounting software user and administration skills,A hands-on manager, who is willing to get actively involved with and guide the team to achieve desired goals.
