 Your role in and as SAP Fiori UI5 Developer:  

JOB SUMMARY

  We are looking for an experienced Fiori/UI5 Developer to design, develop, and maintain SAP Fiori applications and UI5 components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP technologies, a passion for user-centric design, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - but not limited to the following:

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, SAP Fiori Elements, and other related technologies.
  • Customization: Customize and extend Fiori applications based on business requirements and ensure seamless integration with SAP backend systems.
  • UI/UX Design: Implement user interface designs that are intuitive, responsive, and aligned with the best practices for user experience.
  • Integration: Work with SAP Gateway and other SAP services to integrate Fiori apps with various SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW).
  • Testing: Perform unit testing and participate in functional testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs in existing applications.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and support documentation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, UX designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP Fiori and UI5 technologies and recommend improvements and innovations.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
  • Proficiency in SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and related front-end technologies.
  • Experience with SAP Gateway and OData services.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and SAP Fiori design principles.
  • Knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Experience with SAP BTP Platform and SAP Fiori Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Certification in SAP Fiori or SAPUI5 is an added advantage.
