Social Media Intern

What You'll Do

  • Conceptualise and produce high-impact videos (Reels, Youtube Videos, etc.) in line with current trends.
  • Independently shoot and edit content using tools like FinalCutPro, Adobe Premiere Pro etc., with an eye for pacing, aesthetics and storytelling.
  • Craft thumb-stopping hooks, captions and formats that drive retention and engagement.

Trend Spotting & Strategy

  • Keep a pulse on trending formats, viral audios, and new platform features.
  • Help shape content strategy that feels platform-first and audience-relevant.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to bring digital campaigns to life with scroll-worthy content.

Collaboration & Creative Brainstorming

  • Work closely with internal teams to translate briefs into content that's on-brand and bold.
  • Bring fresh creative ideas to the table—think angles, series formats, storytelling structures, and more.
  • Assist with scheduling and analyzing content performance to continuously improve output.

Community Building & Engagement

  • Engage with audiences via comments, DMs, and interactive content.
  • Track key performance metrics and suggest optimizations.
  • Support efforts to grow and maintain a lively, loyal social media community.

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience shooting and editing video content (for personal projects, brands, or freelance).
  • Proficiency in mobile editing tools like FinalCutPro, Adobe Premiere Pro etc.
  • Familiarity with Instagram's algorithm, content patterns, and audience behavior.
  • A strong eye for trends and the ability to turn them into original, brand-aligned content.
  • Solid copywriting chops for captions, hooks and storytelling.
  • A self-starter who can ideate, shoot, edit and publish independently—while being a collaborative team player.
