Job Title: Proposal Writer – Federal & GovernmentLocation: IndiaEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role:We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer with a strong background in developing compelling proposals for Federal, State, and Local Government contracts. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing, organization, and project management skills, with a deep understanding of the government RFP/RFI/RFQ process.This role requires close collaboration with business development, solution, and pricing teams to create persuasive, compliant, and high-quality proposals that align with organizational goals and client requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and interpret RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs from federal and government agencies.- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical, pricing, and delivery) to gather necessary information for proposal development.- Write, edit, and format proposals to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with solicitation requirements.- Develop executive summaries, technical narratives, management approaches, and past performance sections.- Maintain and update proposal templates, boilerplate content, and capability statements.- Manage proposal schedules, deadlines, and submission logistics.- Ensure all deliverables adhere to agency requirements and company branding standards.- Support color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold) and incorporate feedback into final submissions.- Track and manage multiple proposals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).- 3–7 years of experience writing proposals for Federal, State, or Local Government contracts.- Proven understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government procurement processes.- Strong command of MS Word, Power Point, and Adobe Acrobat; experience with proposal management tools is a plus.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.- Experience in writing for IT services, digital transformation, or staffing proposals preferred.Preferred Skills:- APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification is a plus.- Experience with GSA schedules, IDIQs, BPAs, and GWACs.- Strong understanding of technical and management proposal sections for government bids.
