The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting compelling proposals for private, state, and federal government contracts. As a Proposal Writer, you will play a critical role in helping us secure new opportunities and expand our presence in the public and private sectors.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to gather information and insights required for proposal development.- Research and analyze RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations to understand project requirements, evaluation criteria, and compliance guidelines.- Develop and write clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content that addresses client needs and showcases our strengths and capabilities.- Create compelling executive summaries, cover letters, and other proposal sections to engage and captivate evaluators.- Edit and proofread proposal content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to formatting and style guidelines.- Coordinate proposal development activities, including proposal kick-off meetings, content reviews, and document version control.- Maintain a proposal library with up-to-date content, templates, and reusable boilerplate text.- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and changes in government procurement regulations.Qualifications:- Master's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal writing for private, state, and federal government contracts.- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT and Excel).- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.- Excellent organizational and project management skills.- Experience with technical writing and IT proposals is a plus.
