These publishers differentiate themselves by using exciting and engaging ad formats and selling directly to advertisers.We enable such publishers to sell innovative ad formats to advertisers and improve their revenue. Our advanced design tool and ad formats enable designers to create engaging ads while optimizing the speed at which they can produce these designs.On the brand side, the e-commerce space continues to evolve, and every e-commerce brand is looking to create demand. This demand creation is challenging as they must reach out to potential customers via multiple channels (Meta, Insta, Tik Tok, Snapchat and others). This enables us to think globally and build something incredible for our customers.The RoleWe seek a talented and experienced Director of Engineering to join our global team based out of our HQ in Pune.In this role, you will lead a team of skilled engineers and help shape the technical direction of our software products. You will work closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to ensure our solutions align with business objectives and customer needs.ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring efficient and high-quality product development.Collaborate with the executive team to develop the company's technical vision and strategy.Work closely with product management, design, and other teams to translate business requirements into actionable engineering plans.Oversee software development processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement of processes and tools.Drive the adoption of new technologies and engineering methodologies.Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of software products.Monitor and report on the teams performance, taking action to address any issues or concerns.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering team.What you need to succeedMinimum of 10-15 years of experience in software development, with at least three years in a leadership role.Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.Strong understanding of software development methodologies.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, customers and external vendors.Hands-on experience with web development technologies, such as Java Script, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.Familiarity with backend technologies, such as Spring Boot, Java, Kotlin, Node.js and Python.Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results and meeting customer needs.Saas experience (SMB Saas).Nice-to-HavesExperience working in a startup environment.Familiarity with the digital marketing, advertising or ad-tech industry.
