Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and test Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and integrate them into our URP System. This role covers hardware integration, ROS 2-based navigation, and real-world testing. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies to deliver high-performance robotic systems that seamlessly integrate with our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate and control hardware (actuators, LiDAR, IMU, cameras).
  • Develop and extend the ROS 2 Nav2 stack for motion planning and obstacle avoidance.
  • Build and validate robot models, and test with simulation tools (Gazebo, RViz2).
  • Perform SIL and HIL testing to ensure system reliability.
  • Collaborate with teams to improve robot capabilities and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with ROS 2 (Humble preferred) and hardware integration (ODrive, sensors).
  • Strong skills in Python, C++, and simulation tools (Gazebo, RViz2).
  • Experience with Nav2, motion planning, and localization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Isaac Sim, SLAM, sensor fusion, or behavior-tree-based planning.
  • Background in control theory (PID, MPC) or trajectory optimization.
