Salesforce Administrator/Developer

Objective of Position
Our IT Applications team currently support and maintain the software applications that are critical to our business – ERP system, Salesforce CRM system, HRMS system, accounting system, and custom applications & reporting solutions.
The IT Applications team provides development and support for all business applications in a diverse and high-paced environment. We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual with strong generalized Salesforce skills, including administration and development, to be part of the team that manages our Salesforce,com environment.
Accountabilities
·      Serve as primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment with 200+ users.
Assist with basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks.
Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades.
Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests using Salesforce development tools, including process builder, visual flows and Apex classes and triggers.
Work with our management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities.
Assist in training of new users and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization.
·      Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements.
Education
·      Diploma or Degree in Computer systems or related field preferred
Certifications
·      Salesforce Admin Certified
·      Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred.
Experience / Capabilities
·      Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator/developer.
Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, workflows, reports and visual flows, Apex triggers and classes and other content of intermediate complexity.
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
Strong data management abilities.
A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion.
A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements.
Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred.
Experience of SDLC using one of modern programming languages, such as C#.NET would be a plus
Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, including writing SQL queries would be good to have.
Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
