The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong acrossmechanical, electronics, and controls domains , and has demonstrable experience inbuilding and flying drones from scratch .This position involves close collaboration with our avionics, software, and simulation teams to realize new UAV architectures, test new sub-systems, and validate integrated system performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadsystem-level integrationof UAVs — integrating propulsion, control, power, and sensor subsystems.Assemble and commissionairframes, propulsion kits, and flight control systems , ensuring compatibility across electrical and mechanical interfaces.Implement and tuneflight control algorithms , coordinate with software teams to deploy and validate control loops (PID, model-based, or deep learning controllers).Supporthardware-in-loop (HIL)andsoftware-in-loop (SIL)testing environments (ROS2, PX4, Gazebo/Unreal).Collaborate insensor integration(IMU, GPS, LiDAR, cameras, radar) and assist in developing sensor fusion frameworks.Conductground and flight testing , capture telemetry data, and perform post-flight analysis for tuning and debugging.Participate inprototype design reviews , BOM optimization, and validation of mechanical and electronic subsystems.Maintain documentation of integration workflows, wiring harnesses, firmware versions, and calibration procedures.Qualifications & SkillsEducation:B.Tech / M.Tech inRobotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics, or Aerospace Engineering.Experience:1–3 years ofhands-on experiencein UAV or robotics system development and integration.Proven ability tobuild drones from scratchand perform autonomous or semi-autonomous flight tests.Technical Skills:Strong understanding ofmechanical structures ,aerodynamics , andpowertrain components .Proficiency inelectrical and communication systems— ESCs, BLDCs, sensors, telemetry, and CAN/UART interfaces.Familiarity withPX4/Ardupilot ,ROS2 ,Python/C++ , andcontrol algorithm tuning .Exposure toCAD tools (SolidWorks / Fusion 360)andsimulation frameworks (Gazebo / Unreal Engine / AirSim) .Understanding ofcontrol theory ,sensor fusion , andembedded system integration .Soft Skills:Highly hands-on, self-driven, and detail-oriented.Strong documentation, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration skills.Startup mindset — comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments.What We OfferOpportunity to work oncutting-edge UAV systemsshaping the future of logistics and defense.Exposure toend-to-end UAV development— from prototype to flight validation.Dynamic team environment withdirect mentorshipfrom experts in autonomous robotics and aerospace.Competitive compensation with performance-linked growth opportunities.Preferred Tools / IDEsPX4, QGroundControl, ROS2, Gazebo, Unreal Engine (AirSim)Python, C++, MATLAB/SimulinkSolidWorks, Fusion 360, KiCAD, Altium DesignerLinux (Ubuntu) development environmentWould you like me to make this versionformatted for LinkedIn posting(crisper, scannable, with emojis and visual hierarchy) or keep itformal PDF/Word versionfor internal HR and JD documentation?
