Position Overview
Reporting to: Area Director.
Location: The Leela Palace Corporate Office
The Sales Coordinator – Executive will provide administrative and operational support to the corporate sales team, ensuring seamless coordination of sales activities, client interactions, and data management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills to assist in driving revenue growth, supporting sales initiatives, and maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Coordination & Support:
- Assist the sales team in handling corporate and luxury hospitality client inquiries, proposals, and contracts.
- Prepare sales reports, presentations, and other documentation required for internal and external meetings.
- Maintain and update the sales database (CRM) with client interactions, leads, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with different departments (Operations, Revenue, Marketing) to ensure smooth execution of sales-related tasks.
Event & Marketing Coordination:
- Assist in planning and executing sales promotions, roadshows, and networking events.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure sales materials, brochures, and presentations are up-to-date.
- Support in digital and social media campaigns related to sales promotions.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge in creating Daily, Weekly Sales and MICE reports.
- Creation of Monthend Reports and Hotel Wise reports and collation of data from team leaders.
- Managing and creating SFA Accounts and contracts.
Key Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- An MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality Management is a plus.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in sales coordination, sales support, or administrative roles, preferably in the luxury hospitality industry.
- Experience in handling CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Salesforce, Delphi) is preferred.
