Job Location: Chennai/Hyderabad

Exp Range: 6Years to 8Years

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):

- Database Versions: Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c, or later versions.- Performance Tuning: Strong knowledge of SQL query optimization, index management, and database performance tuning techniques- Backup & Recovery: Expertise with Oracle RMAN, Data Pump, and other backup tools, including performing database recovery.- HA/DR Solutions: Experience in configuring and managing Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC, and Oracle GoldenGate.- Security: Understanding of Oracle database security best practices, including encryption, authentication, and role-based access control.- Scripting: Proficiency in PL/SQL, Unix/Linux shell scripting, or other automation scripting languages.- Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and provide root cause analysis.- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities Of Role:

- Database Administration: Manage Oracle databases including installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching across multiple environments (development, testing, production).- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance using tools like Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Automatic Workload Repository (AWR), and tuning advisors. Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks.- Backup & Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions using RMAN, Data Pump, and other backup tools. Ensure database recoverability with regular testing of backups.- High Availability & Disaster Recovery: Design, implement, and manage high availability (HA) solutions such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), and Oracle GoldenGate. Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies.- Security Management: Maintain database security, including user roles, privileges, encryption, and auditing to ensure data confidentiality and integrity
