Job Overview

We are seeking a Cyber Security Mentor - SME to join our team at SKILLOGIC. As a Cyber Security Mentor - SME, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and mentorship to junior cyber security professionals. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of cyber security.

Qualifications and Skills

1 to 3 years of experience in the field of cyber securityStrong knowledge of ethical hacking techniques and methodologiesCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certificationCompTIA Security+ certificationOffensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certificationCertified Information Security Manager (CISM) certificationCertified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certificationExcellent mentoring and coaching skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentWillingness to continuously learn and upgrade skills

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior cyber security professionalsAssist in the development and delivery of cyber security training programsStay updated with the latest cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trendsAssess the skill levels and learning needs of menteesCreate and deliver customized learning plans for mentees based on their specific needsMonitor the progress and performance of mentees and provide constructive feedbackGuide mentees in practical hands-on exercises and real-world scenariosAssist in the design and implementation of cyber security projectsCollaborate with the cyber security team to develop best practice guidelines and standardsConduct research and contribute to the development of cyber security knowledge resources
