Job Position (Title) : Ruby on Rails Developer

Total Exp. : 5 Years +

Work Location : Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Pune, Noida - WFO

Technical Skill Requirements : Ruby on Rails, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Basic knowledge of JavaScript and CSS

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, implement, and document test changes in microservices-based applications.
  • Initiate design reviews for new applications while adhering to the software development standards.
  • Perform cross-functional training and facilitate information sharing among the team members.
  • Recommend new software development technologies and development processes.
  • Perform unit testing on all application functionalities along with supporting integration and load testing activities.
  • Collaborate with the team members to ensure that the deliverables are on schedule.
  • Participate in requirement gathering and functional specification activities.
  • Assist System Analysts in translating business requirements and functional designs into technical designs.
  • Resolve and mitigate production application issues.
Required Skills :
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Knowledge of Rails or full stack framework in similar language (i.e. Django)
  • Basic experience with Javascript and CSS
  • Ability to apply database migrations
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm
  • Ability to troubleshoot Kubernetes Deployments, read K8 Pod Logs, restart pods.
  • Maintain existing Dockerfiles and Helm chart for app deployment, updating for
  • application and architectural changes.
  • Understanding of CI / CD practices
  • Gitlab Deployment Pipelines are already created
  • Enough knowledge to troubleshoot basic pipeline failures
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
