Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications
  • Develop and optimize database schemas and queries
  • Ensure the security and scalability of applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Proficient in Ruby language and Ruby on Rails framework
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of database systems, specifically PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work on time
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
