The Processing Principal Engineer will perform complex analysis and troubleshooting work related to data processing module including, but not restricted to, Intake, extraction, and metadata manipulation and data loading. They will act as a technical escalation point for the processing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Answer and appropriately handle incoming service requests via e-mail, voicemail, phone, IM, and in Escalate problems when appropriate.
  • Conduct quality control evaluations of each process

  • Solve basic, moderate, and complex technical issues, such as database import errors and unknown source data formats.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to other team

  • Assist data operations in coordination with development team on requirements gathering and
  • Design, execute, train and transition new data ops workflows & methodologies on custom
  • Be responsive to and responsible for technical escalations in data operations work
  • Liaise with IT and application support on data operations requirements.
  • Approach all workflows in an analytical manner and think ahead of what errors/issues could be introduced with any steps and provide guidance to management on how to remove these errors/issues.
  • Conduct technical interviews for prospective new hires.
  • Plan, design, and implement Relativity data hosting solutions.
  • Utilize Relativity and Nuix software to manage data collection, data processing, and document Production activities.
  • Design and implement efficient and defensible workflows within Relativity and Nuix, including data culling, search strategies, and document productions.
  • Oversee the quality control of eDiscovery deliverables, including data exports, document productions, and privilege logs.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations (data Loading to Productions) of the data operations function for Relativity.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on the effective use of Relativity, Nuix, and other eDiscovery tools.


Qualifications:

  • BE/MCA degree with minimum 7 years’ work experience in a litigation support environment working with eDiscovery systems in terabyte-sized
  • Experience with software applications common to the eDiscovery process, such as EnCase, dtSearch, Nuix, Law Pre-discovery, IPRO, Relativity, iCONNECT, and Vendor certification for relevant software
  • Well-developed understanding of advanced eDiscovery practices, procedures, and processes (metadata and text extraction, native file to image conversion, OCR processing, and output to document review applications)
  • Proficiency with data management services (loading images to a network, burning CDs/DVDs, ). Loading data into database applications, conducting database inquiries, and developing reports for project teams.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation) with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff in a clear
  • Customer service oriented, willing to work additional hours as necessary including
  • Strong organizational skills and able to effectively manage multiple projects in fast paced environment with tight time deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and MS operating systems.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and in a team.
  • Maintains high quality standards and attention to detail in work .
