Software Verification Lead

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled softwaretesting lead with solid experience leading verification testing ina regulated environment preferably for IVDgrade software.
The software is a mix of microservices that control andcommunicate with a laboratory automation system. The software stackthat will be verified spans microservices that are hosted on prem(or in AWS) as well as laboratory control software that manages andorchestrates robotics automation.
Requirements Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including softwareautomation system engineers and product managers to understand thesystem behavior and effectively translate software requirementsinto automated software test cases.
Architect designand develop a robust scalable testing framework that can testsoftware and run a suite of automated test cases.
Scopethe testing that is required to gain high coverage of testingacross the system. Test cases include functional testing BlackboxAPI testing integration testing performance high throughput testingand stress tests. Test cases will be automated and manual.
Lead a team of test engineers.Provide technicalguidance and ensure test coverage quality and best practices areupheld.
Write clean maintainable andwelldocumented verification protocols while adhering to regulatorycompliance standards.
Conduct code reviews andimplement continuous improvement processes to optimize testingdevelopment workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolvecomplex technical issues and performance bottlenecks in thesoftware.
Stay current with the latest industrytrends emerging technologies and methodologies relevant to theapplication at hand.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor or advanced degree inComputer Science Software Engineering Bioinformatics or a relatedfield.
Minimum of 10 years of professionalexperience as an Automation Software Test Engineer.
Aproven track record in Pytest and Selenium framework.
Solidexperience and understanding of Python React REST API Dockercontainers Jenkins scripts K8S CLI and Linuxbased bash CLI.
Excellent writing and communication skills. Experiencewriting Verification Test Plans Verification Protocols andVerification Reports. Experience managing defects by running bugscrum meetings with appropriate stakeholders to prioritize defects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills withthe ability to effectively communicate technical concepts tonontechnical stakeholders.
Proficiency in version controlsystems (e.g. Git) and collaborative coding workflows.
Previous leadership mentoring and small team management experienceis required.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in the biotechnology orhealthcare industry is highly desirable.
Strong familiaritywith regulatory compliance standards (e.g. HIPAA CLIA) is asignificant advantage.
Exceptional problemsolvingskills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic collaborative andfastpaced environment.
Bachelor or advanced degreein Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or arelated field. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience as anAutomation Software Test Engineer.
