About Our Client
Our client is a leading global company in the field of manufacturing of valves for Automotive or Industrial applications. They are looking to hire an experienced professional to lead Strategic Operations function. This individual would be responsible to work on implementation of best manufacturing practice and also lead greenfield expansion plans.
Job Description
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for:
Building operation capabilities and capacity to handle future requirements to improve efficiency. Identifying various operational bottlenecks with respect to projected growth Working on bringing in futuristic technology to make operations more agile and scale-able. Working on deployment of IOT to bring more visibility to the processes. Identifying automation partners for building futuristic manufacturing capabilities. Working with the senior stakeholders on the expansion plan for the organisation. Implementing vendor-managed inventory system.
The Successful Applicant
Degree in in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Production (preferred) Ideally you should have more than 12 years of experience Should be black belt six sigma certified. Should have track record of implementing good manufacturing practice and leading implementation of futuristic technology. Experience of setting up greenfield project will be desirable with skills in layout designing etc.
