Role Overview:  We are looking for a strategic and experienced Head of Accounts and Finance to oversee the entire financial management of our operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, accounting, reporting, and taxation, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure prudent financial management and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Manage and coordinate audits, tax filings, and compliance with taxation authorities.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance against key business metrics and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and manage financial risks and opportunities, recommending actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Experience in managing taxation and compliance with taxation authorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
