As we prepare to launch, we're looking for a Fashion Designer to join our founding team and help shape the future of avant-garde fashion.Who We're Looking ForA creative powerhouse with strong technical foundations and a deep understanding of contemporary fashion. Someone who thrives under pressure, communicates effectively, plans meticulously, and collaborates seamlessly with artists and makers. We're on the brink of launch after nearly two years of groundwork, and the right candidates will be joining us at an intense and fast-paced phase. This isn't a typical 9-to-5 role—apply only if you're ready for the hustle.Must-Have QualificationsGraduate from a premier fashion institute (e.g. NIFT)Strong command over both written and spoken EnglishProven ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure startup environmentsSolid portfolio showcasing unconventional silhouettes, strong pattern-making skills, and original thinkingKey ResponsibilitiesDesign original and unconventional silhouettes in line with Jupicat's bold artistic visionDevelop patterns, mockups, and toilesTake accurate body and garment measurementsCreate detailed techpacks for sampling and productionCoordinate with the Masterji and ensure alignment of design intent during prototypingMaintain consistent communication and reporting standards as per company guidelinesEnsure adherence to industry best practices in all aspects of design and productionCollaborate with the Founder/Creative Director, Illustrators, and other team members for seamless executionManage timelines, follow-ups, and documentation with high degree of organization and disciplineKey Traits We ValueOut-of-the-box thinker with a taste for the unconventional and rebelliousStrong grasp of global fashion trends and luxury fashion sensibilitiesFast, reliable, and action-orientedDetail-obsessed and meticulous in planningExcellent interpersonal and team collaboration skillsStrong work ethic and unwavering commitment to quality and timelinesHigh moral standards and professional ethics — we value honesty, transparency, and integrity in every interaction.
