Job Summary:

As a consultant at SoHoWines Consulting, you will be the pivotal link between our company and the wine trade. Your role will involve managing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the wine industry, including producers, distributors, retailers, and hospitality professionals.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain robust relationships with trade partners. Act as a single point of contact for all trade-related communications, ensuring seamless information flow and strong partnership bonds.
  2. Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of market trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory changes. Provide insightful feedback to the management team to aid in strategic decision-making.
  3. Brand Representation: Represent SoHoWines Consulting at trade events, wine tastings, and seminars. Articulate our vision and services with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  4. Trade Negotiations: Lead negotiations with trade partners, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and ethical standards.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective trade strategies.
  6. Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on trade activities, market trends, and partnership outcomes. Utilize data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the wine industry, with a solid understanding of the trade dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of wine and viticulture; a formal wine qualification (e.g., WSET) is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to travel as required.
