The Manager of Software will be responsible for leading teams of engineers in our Bangalore office location. The Manager must have a strong background in software delivery, including running multinational software scrum teams.

This position is based in Bengaluru, India.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers in development of new software features in a mature enterprise web application. Breaking down high-level milestones into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria Work closely with product managers, technical directors, engineers, SQA and technical support to:Coordinate and drive sprint and release planningPrioritize and scope software releasesDrive requirements and definitionTrack project dependencies and critical pathIdentify risks and develop risk mitigation strategies with the teamProvide status reporting to company leadership and stakeholders Take responsibility for solving all problems affecting a software release Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

B.E. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent 15+ years of work experience in an agile software development environment 10+ years management experience 5+ years in a software delivery manager or technical program manager role Strong experience with back-end and front-end technologies –Node.js, HTML5, CSS, React/Redux, WebSockets Strong knowledge of modern cloud architectures and technologies. Experience with Azure and Serverless is a plus. Scrum Master experience on large software programs Experience playing an instrumental role in shipping a large software project from concept to release Strong problem solving and analytical skills Superb leadership and facilitation skills – ability to motivate teams Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation Results-driven, self-motivated and enthusiastic
