Job Title: Senior Purchase & Supply Chain Manager Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan Industry: Cables & Conductors Manufacturing Job Purpose Lead and optimize the procurement and supply chain operations Drive strategic sourcing, vendor relationships, inventory management, and logistics to ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, timely delivery, and seamless supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Formulate and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers in the cables/conductors domain.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, quality benchmarks, and service levels.

2. Supply Chain Strategy & Operations

  • Design and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies to streamline operations and reduce costs.
  • Manage inventory, logistics, demand forecasting, and replenishment.
  • Supervise inbound logistics, warehousing, and material distribution.

3. Performance Monitoring & Analytics

  • Track and report key KPIslike on-time supplier performance, purchase price variance, lead times, and inventory turnover.
  • Lead cost-reduction initiatives through value analysis, supplier consolidation, and demand management.

4. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Oversee and mentor a team of procurement and supply chain professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Finance, and R&D to support new product sourcing, forecasting, and efficient manufacturing workflows.

5. Risk Management & Compliance

  • Evaluate supplier risks and vendor performance; develop contingency plans.
  • Ensure procurement and supply chain activities comply with legal, safety, and quality standards.

6. Continuous Improvement & Market Vigilance

  • Monitor industry trends, raw material markets, and vendor innovations.
  • Implement lean, SCM best practices, and digital tools (e.g., ERP/SAP) to enhance efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Masters or equivalent preferred.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years in Procurement and SCM, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.

  • Proven experience within the Cables and Conductors manufacturing industry (preferred).

  • Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in ERP systems (SAP MM, Epicor, etc.), demand forecasting tools, and data analytics.

  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management capability.

  • Leadership & Soft Skills:

  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.

  • Certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM.

  • Experience with JIT, Lean Six Sigma, total quality management (TQM), or ISO processes.
