Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Manager of Strategy & Business Development who is committed to excellence, integrity, and collaboration. This role is crucial in supporting our senior leadership across various strategic and business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy and business development, with a preference for experience in oil & gas or renewable energy markets. We are seeking someone who thrives in a startup environment, is eager to contribute to our growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop go-to-market strategies for hydrogen, ammonia, SAF and other end markets.
Prepare and present marketing materials, pitches, teasers, and various presentations.
Engage with industry professionals and consultants to evaluate trends in hydrogen and renewable energy.
Play a central role in shaping corporate strategy.
Analyze recent events, transactions, and trends in the hydrogen, renewable power, energy, and utility sectors.
Develop and maintain financial models to assess business performance, identify key trends, and evaluate risks and opportunities.
Collaborate across teams to support strategic decision-making and align financial goals with business objectives.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to pinpoint growth opportunities.
Assist in executing strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investments.
Evaluate capital allocation strategies and investment opportunities to optimize financial resources and enhance shareholder value.
Prepare comprehensive presentations and reports for executive leadership, board meetings, investors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Strong presentation and engagement skills, both one-on-one and in group settings.
Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Independent, creative thinker with excellent organizational skills.
Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
Positive energy and a genuine passion for clean energy and continuous learning.
Desire to make a meaningful impact on the community.
Minimum Qualifications:
Fundamental understanding of strategy, ideally from tier 1 strategic consulting firms.
Strong analytical skills, including basic financial modeling.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a proven track record of teamwork in dynamic settings.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Other Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in finance, strategy, investment banking, consulting, or a related field, with a strong background in financial analysis and strategic planning.
Experience in oil & gas, renewable energy development, or related sectors is preferred.
Knowledge of the U.S. oil & gas and renewable power industries is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence software is advantageous.
