Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer specializing in UPS and Batteries for a full-time position based in Visakhapatnam. This mid-level role requires candidates to have 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in UPS systems, battery maintenance, and preventive maintenance. Qualifications and Skills Proven experience with UPS Systems and demonstrated expertise in Battery Maintenance (Mandatory skill). Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Preventive Maintenance techniques and best practices (Mandatory skill). In-depth knowledge of Power Distribution systems and the ability to manage complex power setups effectively. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly. Proficient in Electrical Wiring, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Ability to maintain and document service records accurately for all UPS and battery-related tasks and interventions. Capability to perform routine checks and ensure optimal performance of all equipment under your charge. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams, ensuring clear and concise information exchange. Roles and Responsibilities Conduct field service visits to client locations to install, maintain, and repair UPS systems and associated battery units. Perform regular preventive maintenance checks to ensure the uninterrupted operation of UPS and battery systems. Diagnose electrical issues, conduct troubleshooting, and develop effective solutions to restore system functionality. Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance service protocols and improve maintenance processes. Maintain detailed reports and documentation regarding service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities. Provide technical support and guidance to clients, addressing inquiries and offering training when necessary. Ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards during all service operations. Stay updated with technological advancements related to UPS systems and battery management to provide cutting-edge solutions.
