The Unit HR Head will be responsible for all people-based activity within the hospital from both an operational and strategic perspective. Their key focus will be to plan and execute the HR strategy to reflect the business and organizational plans and provide professional HR advice and support.
Location: Bommasandra, Bengaluru
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate (preferred MBA) - NABH, JCI certification is an added advantage
15 – 20 yrs of core HR experience with a significant share in a Hospital/ Healthcare setup
Fluency in English. Kannada will be preferred but not mandatory.
Key Deliverables:
1) Strategic Planning
Develop and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan
Formulate HR plans, policies &procedures according to organizational objectives
Evaluate existing plans and policies with impact analysis and legal compliance
2) Compensation Management
Review pay structures and make recommendations for pay rises in consultation with dept heads
Create the platform for compensation review with control on budget and its utilization
Manage and review the variable pay process
3) Payroll Management
Ensure timely and accurate processing of salary and other monetary pay-outs
Audit payroll function to ensure legislative compliance
Review the payroll reports to units and payroll MIS
Oversee continual improvement and standardization of payroll operations and systems
4) Recruitment Management
Conduct Manpower Planning in conjunction with business requirements
Develop the recruitment, selection and vendor management processes
Standardize and formalize of hiring and assessment methodologies across units
Analyze and improve recruitment operating metrics
5) Employees Relations Management
Set up policies and procedures for effective settlement of employee grievances
Enhance Organization communications for a positive work environment
Ensure proper management of staff amenities with occupational and health safety
6) Training and Staff Development
Identify the areas for staff development and explore new skills to enhance productivity
Measure the training cost with the customer and employee’s satisfaction scores
Ensure the implementation of NABH guidelines for training with proper audits
Build a plan for leadership development and succession planning
Manage the performance appraisal process and create models for performance review
7) Human Resources Management Information Systems
Manager data quality measurement metrics
Ensure the transition and documentation of HRIS Knowledge within the hospital
8) Compliance and Employee Benefits Management
Review and measure the insurance benefits to all associates and timely settlement of Insurance Claims
Proactive IR management with speedy disposal of the Litigations
Ensure proper compliance of PF, ESI AND LWF and closure of Audit NCs within the due dates
9) People Management
Organize, direct, and manage the unit HR teams in consultation with the unit Facility Director
Recruit, develop and train a professional staff with sufficient knowledge, skills and experience
