We are looking for a skilled C# Backend Developer to join our team and help us build robust and scalable backend systems for our applications.This role integrates Devops – i.e. you will be both developing, deploying and monitoring the running cloud application.An important part of the role is to engage directly with technical leadership in Dx Product development. So excellent written and oral communication skills are required. The role has end-to-end software ownership of design definition, implementation, and documentation of the delivered application.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES   Manage backend developers in regard to individual development, and performance. Manage overall technical implementation of backend code in line with specifications and defined best practices for ZICC backend team. Manage the backend developers on the team in ZICC ensuring their work is implemented in line with technical specifications and defined best practices, Mentor and coach more junior backend developers ensuring they are continuously improving their skills and experience, Provide updates on status and progress to development manager - 40% Design, develop, and implement backend features using C# Keep system documentation up to date. This includes system architecture, changelogs, build descriptions, continues deployment, branching strategy etc. Collaborate with other technical leads and product owners to ensure high quality delivery of requirements. Build efficient, reusable, and maintainable code. Maintain and extend database implementation and migration script. Collaborate with front-end developers and other engineers to ensure a seamless user experience. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. Deployment to Prod and coordinating infrastructure needs with cloud ops. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical problems on production systems – 50% Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in C# and backend development-10% ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Collaboration with product managers and product ownersCoordinate with developers, designers, analysts, QA and other members of the development team to implement integration solutions, share knowledge, and address technical challenges.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Masters/bachelor's in software engineeringExperience:Minimum of 3 years in a development lead role with mix of managing developers and hands on technical design and codingMinimum of 7 years as a C# developerMinimum of 3 years’ experience in microservice development leveraging .net web api, c# and .netcoreTECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Proven experience as a Senior C# developer (7+ years)Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) conceptsExperience with ASP.NET Core or similar backend frameworksExperience with SQL databases and Entity Framework or similar ORM tools a plusExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Enterprise experience in microservice developmentExperience with Open Api spec, YAML, RAMLExperience with DevOps practicesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team3+ years' experience with leading a technical team of C# .NET developersBonus points:Experience with secure network configuration on AzureExperience with monitoring applications in AzureExperience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Experience working on Event driven architecture is very desirable (brokers, pub/sub)Experience with DevOps implementationOpportunity to train and work with MuleSoft ecosystem (Anypoint).PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS.
