Job Description:In this role, you will perform production systems integration within a cutting-edge Linux based virtualization stack, streamline and secure our applications, storage, and physical servers, and install, troubleshoot, configure, and repair company hardware. Typical Duties and Responsibilities (Implementation)Manage the software, hardware, and systems on a Linux serverDesign, build, and maintain core services and infrastructureInstall and monitor Linux operating systemsImplement security measures and identify potential issuesUpdate security settings in OSAutomate vulnerability and security patchingParticipate in programming, scripting, and process automationDesign and manage backup and recoveryPRE – SALES ( Should be willing to learn – Training shall be provided – OJT, VIDEOS etc..)As a technical presales engineer, Your duties include working with sales teams, and conducting presentations to promote a new product or Solutions to customers at the beginning of the sales cycle. Prepare BoQ. Presenting solutions to the customers, Doing competitive analysis.EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related fieldRequired Skills and Experience5+ years of hands-on Linux Systems Administration experienceExperience installing and configuring mail services, firewalls, and networks in Linux system.Experience with information security frameworks such as device encryption, digital certificates, and anti-virus toolingExperience using observability tools and stack tracesExperience with Windows OS installation and cloningExperience with log analysis, monitoring, and alerting systemsKnowledge of TCP/IP addressing, routing, and troubleshootingKnowledge of active directory principles such as group policy object creation, AD OUs, and domain authenticationFamiliarity with fundamental concepts including DNS, VPN, and PKIFamiliarity with cloud provisioningKnowledge of modern configuration management toolingKnowledge of gateways, firewalls, and routersGood communication skills, Interpersonal skills and willing to work on ODD Hours at Customer’s site /Remote.Preferred QualificationsExperience with VMWare, SuSe Enterprise LinuxExperience with virtual server implementation and managementAny fundamental security certification
