He/she shall technically lead the engineering studies in order to reach performances in compliance with requirements.Organisation Reporting:Direct report: Train Design System Domain LeaderFunctional report: Project / Sub-System Manager /TSE during project durationNetwork & LinksStrong link with others System Engineers and Train system Engineer.Project network: Product / project technical core team, PrEM, Sub-System Manager, Train System EngineerTechnical network: System experts, Product Technical ManagerPerformance Measurement/KPI’s100% of technical requirements covered and taken into account in the designRespect of DFQ milestones and on time deliveryTD DashboardResponsibilitiesDefine and implement the functional, performance, transverse and train level requirements of the dedicated subsystem.Performing requirement development, coming from reference and applicable documents from Metiers, Standards, Certification, Safety, Platform and CustomerDefine and mature the Interface (mechanical and electrical) for the dedicated subsystem along with the stakeholders.Verify the subsystem at subsystem level and train level including design reviews.Performing train system FMECA in coordination with RAMS teamEnsuring consistency and compatibility between all the sub-systems specificationsDelivering the subsystem documentation (Requirement Specification and Architecture Description RSAD, Technical Purchase Specification TPS, Interface Control Document ICD)Ensuring coordination between TSS/PU/Metier on interfaces, performances, technical issues resolution during detailed design phase.Support sourcing, suppliers, PUs, S&A Engineers, Train design engineers, ILS engineers, RAMS engineers, and validation engineers at different stages of DFQ cycle.Review of supplier documentation, prepare customer deliverables as per the project plan, support and witness FAI, type testsControl of changes after design freeze and perform impact analysis.Defining and performing Train verification and validation strategy in close collaboration with all Engineering metiers, Certification & Validation teams, TSS Team and Participating UnitsSupport technical issues during train revenue service. From investigation to problem closureOn TSE request, participating to technical meetings with customer in order to provide support.Supporting TSE for implementation and update of Engineering risks mitigation plan, change order process and QCD optimisationProviding Return of experience to be implemented in Reference SolutionsKnowledge & Experience:Bachelor / Master degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering4 to 8 years experience in Lighting hardware design and development
Familiarity with Train system knowledge and Hands-on experience in design & development of Internal and external Lighting for Railways/Automotive domain.
Able to work in a team and share easily work result
