We’ve been retained by a US HQ retail technology business pioneering the unification of online and offline customer buying journeys whilst leveraging AI. They sell to retail and convenience enterprises and have several big-name customers onboard. They’ve raised a big funding round and are poised to grow.


They’re looking for a fullstack engineer to be the Technical Lead for their engineering team based out of Jaipur, India. In this role, you will be a player/coach, focusing on leading a team of 5 engineers and also be a hands-on coder. You will lead by example and work alongside the engineering and product team based out of the US. This is your chance to fastrack your career with a dynamic startup and be part of cutting-edge AI technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web and mobile applications for our platform.
  • Work with the Go or Python back-end to build scalable and secure services.
  • Implement and optimize features in the front-end using modern frameworks like React. Note: You can learn frontend on the job if you are not well versed in it.
  • Design and manage APIs for seamless integration between the mobile app and backend services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to create intuitive user experiences.
  • Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of the platform through best practices such as testing, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in back-end development with Go or Python is a must have.
  • Some front-end experience or understanding with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React.
  • Experience or understanding of RESTful/Graphql APIs and database systems like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
  • Experience working in a start-up or lean environment is a big plus.
